Calloway currently supports hundreds of licensed substance abuse and alcohol treatment facilities to help ensure that their patients remain drug free. Our Substance Abuse Protocol covers the entire drug testing lifecycle in support of recovering addicts with a sensitive and constructive program.
Collections.
Calloway provides our own collection and courier services with on-staff certified personnel. We can provide on-site supervised or unsupervised urine collections throughout the Northeast, as well as off-site collections using our mobile unit. All collections are performed using industry standards for documented chain-of-custody. If needed, training on proper collection methods is available from DATIA certified trainers. Calloway’s specialized fleet of vehicles use satellite tracking to constantly monitor the location of specimens and ensure timely service.
High Volume Screening.
Calloway’s Substance Abuse Protocol includes high volume urine screening to detect the presence of drugs. Our screening technology can identify any of 17 drugs, making it one of the most comprehensive portfolios available. We customize this list for each facility depending on the individual requirements of each patient base.
We strive to stay current with all possible means of falsifying results by routinely surveying the market for new materials and products designed to conceal drug use. We test for multiple adulterants and signs of tampering including:

In-House Confirmations.
Facilities may customize their Substance Abuse Protocol to include a confirmation test after the initial laboratory screen. Calloway is one of the few US laboratories to offer in-house Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS). Although many confirmation methods are used throughout the industry, GC/MS is considered the “Gold Standard.” For some drug confirmations, our in-house LC/MS-MS is used.
On-line Results.
Facilities can also customize how test results are delivered. In addition to faxing and hand delivery, we can provide results via our HIPAA compliant web-site. Calloway was one of the first clinical laboratories to offer on-line results.
Third-Party Billing.
Calloway handles all billing through third-party insurance carriers. We work directly with insurance companies to obtain reimbursement for all laboratory services. |
